Once again my weekly posting of weird religious news from the past seven days is here. Will there ever be a week when all of the religiously motivated behave with decency, honesty, integrity and tolerance?
Now don’t misunderstand me, I’m not suggesting that all religious people don’t, because in reality most do. In fact I would go as far as suggesting that most humans, regardless of their specific beliefs, or lack of any religious belief, are decent honourable people. This weekly posting highlights the outliers, those that go the extra mile and embrace absurd ideas by the gallon, then proceed to proclaim it to anybody who will listen. It also perhaps does something else. It throws a spotlight upon those that claim to hold the high moral ground and have direct access to a supernatural force that supposedly transforms them into a new creation, yet in reality they are often revealed to be self-deceiving hypocrites who manifest something quite different.
Did anything truly weird happen during the past week?

… and then there was this next item as well. Some guy apparently dug up a grave two days after the burial and then proceeds to try and bring an accident victim back to life by yelling at him. Is this silly news season in full swing? Nope, if you follow the link you will find a video of it [Warning: take this one with a pinch of salt, even though the BBC reported the story, it is so utterly weird that I still cling to a doubt that it might have been faked].
