Scan for weird religious news that popped up within the news cycle last week, and the folks that naturally bubble to the surface are specifically the right-wing religious Trump supporters.
What you have is a complete and utter rejection of facts, evidence, and reality itself. Instead “Alternative facts” are promoted as “truth”.
In this case the divine has been inspired to incarnate and manifest as complete and utter stupidity.
What Happened during the past 7 days?
The Press are apparently Demonic and are promoting witchcraft …
- Rick Wiles: CNN Is Demonic and Seeks to Destroy Freedom, Consumed with ‘Witchcraft’… (It would appears that a guy who actually believes in magic seriously thinks that the media are also into magic)
- MRC’s Dan Gainor: The Mainstream Media Has Embraced Witchcraft…(yep, this line of thinking is not just one lone nut, it appears to be a new bit of insanity gaining traction)
A mandatory qualification, according to some, for holding public office is to believe in Jesus …
- ‘Only Christians Should Hold Public Office’: John Guandolo Says Muslim Congresswomen ‘Cannot Serve’ in Congress…(That probably disqualifies quite a few of the founding fathers)
Some pushed the boundaries and found a new way to mix homophobia with misogyney …
- Dave Daubenmire: Ugly Women Become Lesbians Because No Man Would Ever Love Them…(That’s not how human sexuality works)
In a globally warming world, some believe we are about to have an ice age …
- Rick Wiles Sees the Upside of a Deadly Ice Age… (Tiny little flaw, the planet is getting hotter, not colder).
Catholicism historically holds the monopoly on “weird & obnoxious”, some are seeking a comeback …
- Far-Right Catholic Group Decries ‘Mania for Diversity’ and ‘Acceptance of Islam’…(Feudalism and Inquisitions did not work out all that well the first time about, I’m not convinced a revival of all that is the very best of ideas).
Climate Change is apparently a Conspiracy …
- Brazil’s Top Diplomat Thinks Climate Change is an Anti-Christian Conspiracy…(If true it is a very organised conspiracy that includes every scientific body and university from almost every nation state on the planet)

- Biblical Literalists Are Among the Most Vocal “Flat Earthers”…(Apparently the flat earth society has members all around the globe)
The wrath of a right-wing conservative God …
- Ohio Republican: Deadly Fires Are “God’s Punishment to Liberal California” …(We better not tell him that Jesus was a brown skinned middle-eastern Marxist who encouraged his followers to sell all they had and give the money to the poor)
Nutter of the Week
American Killed by Isolated Indian Tribe While Allegedly Trying to Convert Them
John Allen Chau got it into his completely thick brain that God was telling him to go preach to a completely isolated and very hostile remote tribe on India’s Andaman and Nicobar islands.
He was warned again and again and again that anybody and everybody who approaches them will be instantly killed. He believed that God would protect him so off he goes, lands on the beach. The first thing the tribesmen do the moment they see him is that they shoot arrows into him and kill him.
Tthis is utterly tragic, and yet it is also a monument to the utter stupidly that can be inspired when gripped by a religious delusion.
When you truly believe in magic, then you are setting yourself up for a smash into the hard wall of reality.
Meanwhile, it has also been reported that …
Seven fishermen have been arrested for illegally ferrying the American to the island, police say.
What happens next is that those that also deeply believe hail him as a martyr and a hero and not a daft idiot who did something utterly stupid. I wrote that last sentence without knowing, then googled it and yes, here it is. This is so damn predictable …
John Allen Chau, a Covenant Journey alumni, was martyred on November 17 by the Sentinelese tribal people on the island of North Sentinel. “When I heard the news of John’s death, I couldn’t believe it. I was numb. John loved people, and he loved Jesus. He was willing to give his life to share Jesus with the people on North Sentinel island,” said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Covenant Journey.
