Shortly after the event Douglas Jensen was arrested for his involvement on Jan 6th. He is the QAnon fanatic who chased Officer Eugene Goodman near the Senate chamber during the Capitol insurrection. His lawyer petitioned the court last July and explained that Jensen had truly learned a lesson the hard way and so he’d “turned a corner”, and put aside his previous QAnon conspiracy thinking. On that basis he was released, but under the condition that he stayed away from the internet so that he would not be exposed to further crazy conspiracy claims.
I bet you can guess what has now happened.
Yes indeed, you nailed it, Doug is really not the smartest cookie in the jar. Court officials turned up at his house to see how he was doing, and discovered him in his garage streaming Mike Lindell’s conspiracy-filled symposium. This past week, back to jail he goes.
You might also be wondering what Mike Lindell (My Pillow … or should that really be Mr Conspiracy) was up to during the past week. The big update there is perhaps a new insight via an article by Zachary Petrizzo in Salon…
- The quick one line summary is this – Mike’s team of Cyber “Experts” were simply a bunch of fraudsters who managed to con a total of about $3 million out of Lindell in exchange for his supposed “evidence”. That includes $1.5 for a property in Florida.
- In other words, while Mike was running a con on the entire nation with his conspiracy claims, a gang of professionals were running a con on him.
The Salon article sums it up as follows …
“This is somehow the saddest part of this whole story,” said reporter Khaya Himmelman of the Dispatch, who attended Lindell’s South Dakota event. “It’s so obvious Lindell was taken for a ride. I’m not surprised about Montgomery’s involvement, but I couldn’t have guessed a house in Florida was involved. I’m only left wondering how Lindell fell for it.”
So what else has happened during this past week?
For those that are new readers, permit me to explain. Each week I make a selection of some of the truly bizarre claims and declarations from the past week. What follows below comes with a hat-tip to my main source, Right-Wing watch. They simply report the absurd silly claims without comment. The snarky commentary under each is wholly mine, and is me having a bit of fun mocking these fools. Why get angry, why not laugh at this truly absurd stuff that they continue to churn out week after week.

COVID-19
Dave Daubenmire has teamed up with anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist Sherri Tenpenny to form a new organization called The Christian Revolution, which Daubenmire claims will raise tens of millions of dollars to provide conservative Christians with legal representation in the fight against COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
- If you are wondering who Sherri Tenpenny is, she is the nutter who previously popped to claim that the vaccine causes you to become magnetic and also connects you to cell towers with 5G. I was really excited to hear that and rushed out to get my vaccine, but so far no magnetic super powers (rips up avengers application form), and also no 5G. I’m so disappointed.
- Tenpenny was in the anti-vax game long before COVID. She is ranked amongst one of the top 12 creators of COVID Misinformation on the planet today, and has a Wikipedia page dedicated to her. These days only you get a Wikipedia page describing you if you are either famous or infamous. In her case it is not because she is famous.
QAnon Anti-Vaxxer Called COVID a Hoax Even as His ‘Lungs Stopped Functioning’
- Robert David Steele, a former CIA officer turned conspiracy theorist who claimed to be the first person to call COVID-19 a hoax, has died from COVID-19.
- This is the hill he choose to die on … literally. It was his own choice, he refused the vaccine.
- “Stupidity Incarnate” is laying down your life for a delusional conspiracy belief.
In late July, anti-vax conspiracy theorist Chris McDonald asked for prayers for his father, who had contracted COVID-19. Two weeks later, he announced that his father had died. Last night, McDonald said COVID-19 vaccines are a plot to commit “genocide” and urged everyone to refuse to take them.
- Chris desperately needs to appreciate that he is promoting claims that are literally killing people.
- Due to the personal impact it has had within his family, I suspect he will never be able to ever accept that or come to terms with his own responsibility here.
Stew Peters is outraged that someone said the world will be “a better place” when those who refuse to be vaccinated all die
- The hypocrisy is strong in this one. Stew Peters, has himself once said the world will be “a better place” when those who received a COVID-19 vaccine all die.
In making the case against mask mandates, Pastor Shane Vaughn argued that laws requiring people to wear seat belts and motorcycle helmets are unconstitutional.
- Is Pastor Shane going to drive at night with the lights off at high speed over the limit on the wrong side the of road with no seatbelt while drinking a beer, just to stick it to the man? What could possibly go wrong?
- Reminder: None of this should be a surprise. Keeping laws is really not Pastor Shane’s thing. He has previously spent 3 years in jail for fraud, and that fraud happened after he become a preacher, not before.
Truly Bizarre
Pastor Jack Hibbs Says Biden ‘Needs to Be Facing Court-Martial’ and Removed From Office
- Small problem for Pastor Jack is this – a president cannot be court-martialed. This is because legally presidents are considered to be civilians who are not subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
- His reason for this demand is the withdrawal from Afghanistan. That would be the same withdrawal that was initiated by … yes, not Biden, but Pastor Hibbs’s favourite messiah, Trump. Biden simply implemented what had been agreed.
‘You Get Nothing’: Josh Bernstein Calls for Democratic Voters to Be Starved Until Biden Resigns …“I think that we should have a permanent ban on delivering goods and services into big, blue dominant liberal cities in America,”
- Meanwhile back in reality, truck drivers are rather fond of getting paid, and generally tend not to check the politics of those that ask them to ship goods from A to B. He is also assuming all truck drivers are Republican.
- For a bit of background context this guy makes Stalin look very moderate: In the past he has promoted the idea that all Democrat voters should be sterilized and that all his political opponents should be executed. It should be no surprise for you to discover that YouTube, Roku, and Patreon have all banned him permanently.
Rick Wiles says that “what we need in this country is a good old-fashioned American revolution to break the back of the Zionists” and “return America to Christ.”
- Yes indeed, the one thing that the US desperately lacks is Fundamentalist Fanatics, we need lots more of those.
- Not only is Wiles playing a very old Antisemitic canard that has been lifted directly from the pages of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion which was published in 1903, but he is also advocating for “The Handmaid’s Tale” as his solution. It does all hint that Wiles actually reads more than just one book. His mistake has been his embrace of fiction as a guidebook.
Joshua Feuerstein declares that the withdrawal of U.S. military forces from Afghanistan has “completed [a] prophetic act ushering in [the] Battle of Armageddon.”
- The end of days has been “any day now” for the last 2,000 years. It is the ultimate example of new “prophetic” dates being promoted at very regular intervals.
- The problem with all these bible “predictions” is that they are so vague you can crowbar in anything you fancy for any time or age. Unless of course you cheat, like the author(s) of the book of Daniel did by writing “predictions” after many of the events had happened.
The False Profit$
The stars here are of course the religious grifters. To be wholly clear, most humans, regardless of their cultural belief or non-belief are decent. Some however deploy and leverage belief as a tool to manipulate and enrich themselves with. This section is very much dedicated to religious fraudsters …
- There will indeed be dire consequences … for Hank. He will have been exposed and confirmed as a fake. He “guaranteed” a Trump win. Being exposed as a false prophet means fewer donations.
- If you are curious and want a further giggle, his dire consequences of Trump not getting back into office includes …”churches shut down, their children take away, their wives raped, and everyone shipped off to concentration camps“. He really is desperately thumping every emotional button he can reach with this.
- For those that struggle with this and take it seriously, please do explain how Catholic Biden and Baptist Harris will be closing down churches with the support of democrats who are mostly some variation of Christian.
Self-appointed Prophet, Jeff Jansen, “prophesied” that the military would reinstall former President Donald Trump by the end of April. When that didn’t happen, he moved the date to June. Even though that didn’t happen either, Jansen continues to insist that Trump is “still president, and he’s gonna step back in. You watch what happens.”
- You do have to wonder how many date changes and failed prophecies it will take for his followers to wise up that this guy is running a con on them.
Jackson Lahmeyer used his Sunday church service to pray that that God will remove politicians who “do not submit to your authority” and replace them with “men and women who will obey your command,”
- Given that Lahmeyer is currently trying to unseat Sen. James Lankford in Oklahoma’s GOP primary, when he says “men and women who will obey your command,”, he actually means just himself.
Chris Reed reports that the civil war prophesied by Rick Joyner has already begun.
- Really! … (Looks out window, scans news channels) … er … nope.
- These folks simply pander to the MAGA crowd telling them what they want to hear.
- Facts or truth play no role here, it is all about hitting emotional buttons to keep the donations rolling in.

- Side Note: The term “Apostle” is a title that he simply self-appointed himself into.
Despite having been wrong in her repeated guarantees that former President Donald Trump would be reelected, “prophet” Kat Kerr continues to insist that Trump is the legitimate president and that “God is going to do something” to restore him to office.
- I do seriously struggle to understand why she thinks a supernatural entity that supposedly used magic to create a universe that contains trillions of galaxies, each with hundreds of billions of stars, would actually care who won an election on one small part of a tiny mote of dust within this vastness, and now apparently struggles to put the idiot-in-chief back into office.
Finally, to finish this latest posting, we have an example that illustrates that some of the Evangelicals really are far far crazier than the QAnon folks. I do have to seriously wonder if their communion wine is being laced with an extremely potent hallucinogenic …
